  • I bought these headphones for 100$ when they were on sale on Amazon. I've just used these for less than 5 minutes and the cable rips a small hole in them. This is because right in the wire, near the buds, their are metal wires in their to help form fit to your ear. The metal wire ripped a hole in the earphone wires. Sound is alright, I wouldn't recommend these for bass. They just sound clear. Not Worth 400$.

  • These earbuds are too good to describe in words. You need to try them to understand the quality these represent.

  • I have both Shure SE530 and Ultimate ears triplefi 10. If you could cover the extra cost go in for Shure. I'm not gonna explain technically cause there is enough comprehensive review available online.

  • When Bunny and I are on the yacht, I occasionally hand over the controls to the butler and take a moment to take in the symphony. Not the symphony of the sea, mind you, the sound a symphony recording on my iPod. That's where the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10's come in.

It doesn't matter if it's the middle of the streets during Carnavale in Rio, in our private box at the Kentucky Derby or when I'm simply trying to drown out the din of the polo match, these inexpensive little noise-isolating earbuds allow me to take in the delicacy of a Dowling lute solo or the resounding crescendo of a Mahler symphony. Believe you me, if you've EVER spent time in Pamplona watching the running of the bulls, you'll appreciate how these babies drown out the noise of the rabble. And speaking of rabble, ignoring gypsies in Paris has never been easier. The noise isolation feature lets me pretend they're not even there.

I've certainly had better headphones but at this price I can afford to lose them when we travel and not worry about it. Cheap headphones rock!
